I founded ONYX to bring careful, high-standard detailing into a mobile service that respects the customer’s time. Working on everything from high-performance exotics to long-loved classics has reinforced one thing: great results come from patience, a clear process, and respect for the vehicle in front of you. That standard applies to a collector car, a family SUV, and every daily driver in between.

At ONYX, the process starts with looking closely. We consider the paint, trim, wheels, glass, interior materials, and how the vehicle is used. Then we recommend the service that makes sense—from interior detailing and exterior detailing to paint correction or ceramic coating. The value of the vehicle never decides how carefully we work.

Professional car detailing is not about using the strongest cleaner. It’s about matching the product and method to the soil and material.

Why products differ

Surfactants help loosen and carry away soils. pH, concentration, material compatibility, and contact time all affect how a product behaves. An iron remover targets embedded iron contamination; an interior cleaner has a different job from a glass or wheel cleaner.

We select products for the surface and task, follow label directions for dilution and dwell time, and remove product as directed. The aim is effective cleaning without adding unnecessary harshness to the process.

Clear answers about sensitivities

Product formulas vary, so we don’t describe every cleaner as “non-toxic” or promise an allergy-free service. If you or someone in your household has fragrance, skin, or respiratory sensitivities, tell us before booking. We’ll discuss the products planned for the job and lower-odor or fragrance-free options when suitable and available.

We want you to know what to expect. We’ll talk through product choices and the service setup before work begins; we won’t promise zero exposure or a risk-free environment.
